From 1000 hours on 28 -29/Oct (Sun),

Chai Wan Station Exit B – Law Uk Folk Museum will become entry only while

Exit C – Public Transport Interchange will be for exit only

till further announcement made by the station. This is to facilitate Hong Kong Police’s crowd control measures

Meanwhile, coupled trains will serve Light Rail Route 505 on 28/Oct (Sat)

From 18/Oct (Wed),

a special will once again be introduced when the first generation Octopus is used to touch in or out and when adding value. It acts as a reminder for you to replace the card at any Customer Service Centre / Airport Express counters / Octopus Service Point

Cardholders should also check the display on ticket gates to avoid any abnormality when using these cards

Online registrations are, however, required for Personalised Octopus cardholders as their new cards will need to be reprinted

passengers may replace their first generation Octopus, whether its Automatic Add Value Service has been activated or not, for free at Customer Service Centre or Airport Express counters

Card numbers of the first generation Octopus do not carry brackets; the relevant cardholders will also receive a special reminder when touching in or out and using enquiry machine
