Signalling components near Kowloon Tong Station were malfunctioned thus preventing the normal operations of wirings related to Emergency Train Stops and trains were unable to obtain proceed signal
Engineers has resumed the functionality of signalling system and investigating the issue, train service will then back to normal

較早前九龍塘站附近的訊號元件故障，影響到與緊急停車掣相關的綫路無法正常操作，妨礙列車接收行車訊號
工程人員已恢復訊號系統的功能，並調查故障的原因，服務即將回復正常
太子、旺角站的月台，都因為乘客未能如常登上荃灣綫列車，而十分擠逼
觀塘綫列車到站後，需要更多的停站時間，以便落客
不同車站已實施下列人流管制措施，確保乘客安全：
荃灣綫列車駛到荔景站附近時，由於未能接收行車訊號
因此需改用人手駕駛，以不高於 22 公里的時速前行，目前只能提供約一半的運載能力
