5 月 30 日（星期一）早上近八時，有狗隻出現在東鐵綫紅磡 至 旺角東站的路軌，
控制中心隨即按《動物政策》，指示車站職員趕到現場，並通知法定機構人員協助，車長則需要改用人手駕駛，
起初，狗隻在近九龍華仁書院的位置，但之後走到紅磡 至 旺角東站之間，「1A 隧道」的北行綫入口徘徊。因狗隻與列車之間的安全距離不足，部分列車因而未能前行
車站職員展開藍色布幕，順着狗隻的移動方向，將之引導到旺角貨場的閘口，讓其自行離開路軌。法定機構人員則於狗隻離開後 12 分鐘，抵達旺角東站
而根據香港法例第 421 章《狂犬病條例》，狗主讓狗隻遊蕩至公眾地方即屬違法，可判處罰款港幣一萬元

About 8 o’clock in the morning on 30/May（Mon）, a dog appeared on the track between Hung Hom and Mong Kong East stations
The Operations Control Centre summoned the assistance from statutory bodies, then instructed station staff to attend the scene immediately and train captains to proceed manually at a slow speed
At first, the dog was found near Wah Yan College, Kowloon, then it dashed to the portal of Tunnel 1A which located between Hung Hom and Mong Kok East stations and was tramping on the northbound track there. Because of the insufficient clearance between the dog and train nearby, some trains were held to stop
Station staff then deployed the blue screen and guided the dog to leave the railway near a gate of Mong Kok Freight Yard following the dog’s running path. Statutory boby personnel arrived Mong Kok East Station 12 mins after the dog has left
According to the Rabies Ordinance (Cap 421), the keeper of the animal who allow his or her animal wander into a public place shall be guilty of an offence and liable to a fine of $10000
