懷疑一名由 1610 時開中方城際列車 Z803 服務抵港的外籍男乘客，出現中東呼吸綜合症（MERS）的徵狀，該位乘客其後已由救護車送往醫院檢查
港鐵隨即通知中方城際列車的乘務員，為該班車第三卡 20 號座位 及 附近的範圍消毒
曾乘搭同一班車的乘客，如有不適亦應盡早求診
紅磡站已加強清潔，該站的扶手電梯、升降機、售票機、增值機、閘機等，經常為乘客所能接觸的設施，已使用 1:49 方式稀釋的漂白水消毒
乘客亦可留意車站、車廂的 廣播 及 字幕有關勤加洗手、留意個人衛生的訊息
