基於被動安全(Fail-safe)設計,鐵路車輛的煞車需由壓縮空氣鬆開;當系統異常或有喉管漏氣,車輪便會鎖死,以策安全
因此,觀塘綫 油麻地 至 鑽石山 的列車服務曾一度停頓
