In mid-2015, the then General Manager – Corporate Relations made a clarification with the Secretarial & Legal Department that some articles related to taking photos inside railway premises are targeted to commercial video productions, unwanted interviews or nuisance behaviours
While the penalty of offences unrelated to ticket issues shall be decided by Magistrates’ Courts, where they reserve the right to interpret the law
