Followed the example of new carriage identification markings put onto platform doors or floor at stations,

labels inside train compartments with door and carriage numbers printed on all running lines will also be aligned

This enables passengers to easily locate themselves when looking for stations staff’s assistance or report any equipment defects throughout @mtrupdate

From 11-13/May,

stations across Lantau Airport Railway will apply these crowd control measures according to the actual situation to cater the upsurge passengers demand from major events

Three empty trains have been reserved for Tung Chung Line and will be dispatched when needed to provide an extra capacity of 7500 passengers

+9 trains per hour on Disneyland Resort Line at 1700-1930 hours and 2200-2340 hours

Trains may berth at platforms for longer than usual due to overcrowding

Please pay attention to announcements for the latest arrangements

Yellow LED lightings have been fitted on trial basis to the escalator E19 at Central Station, which connects Platform 4 – to Kennedy Town and Concourse, to remind passengers not to stand on step edges and to beware of the potential hazard of loose clothings being trapped in the escalator

New broadcasting devices have also been installed to remind passengers to hold on to the handrail in case of the emergency stop devices of the escalator being activated and to leave the scene in an orderly manner

From 7/May (Mon),

the coverage of Green Minibus Intermodal discounts will be extended to all Octopus holders when using Routes 14M, 15M, 17M, 21A, 49, 49M, 54, 54M, 76B, 79K, 79M, 79S, 101M, 407A, 409K, 611, 611A, 611B

Existing discounts for adult Octopus holders remain unchanged
