港鐵故障消息 MTR Service Update

In the last non-traffic hours,

the first test train on East Rail Line entered sections of tracks that were temporarily taken over by the new signalling system – Siemens Trainguard MT ⬇️

The new signalling system enables East Rail Line to operate 32 trains per hour maximum in peak hours while current is 24

Normal operations has been resumed on the tracks after different trial runs

iCentre that provides computers for internet browsing services and Wi-Fi signal at the listed stations

have now also been equipped with 4 USB charging points

Only safety-certified products are allowed and each person is limited to 15 mins charging time per use

有關早前沙田站有狗隻步入軌道一事　Summaries on a dog entering the track at Sha Tin Station earlier

2 月 1 日（星期三）約 1510 時，沙田站的職員通知控制中心，指有一狗隻正於路軌上走到紅磡方向

控制中心隨即按《動物政策》的規定，安排受影響範圍的列車改用人手駕駛，以不高於 22 公里的時速前行，並召喚法定機構到場協助

同時，大圍站的職員亦按《動物政策》所示，向狗隻展示「藍色布幕」，以便將之驅離鐵路範圍，但狗隻一直跑向畢架山隧道，並走到旺角東站附近

當法定機構人員抵達現場時，固定狗隻的工具突然散開，狗隻於是再次沿路軌走入新界。及後在約 1730 時，狗隻在車站職員的引導下，經軌旁的緊急閘口離開

工程人員檢查 火炭 至 大圍 站路旁的圍欄後，並未發現損壞，懷疑狗隻從九號幹綫一個修路地盤中，堆疊高於圍欄的工程物料跳入路軌，而地盤負責人亦已答允將物件的高度降低
