The lift at Tai Wo connecting Concourse and Platform 2 – to Hung Hom will be taken out of service from 1/Dec (Fri) for a major overhaul. It is estimated to be re-opened in early-Jan/2018

Besides empty trains arranged by the Operation Control Centre according to the actual passengers flow,

Urban Lines will provide more and extra empty trains at different platforms on weekdays and except public holidays from 27/Nov (Mon) to the end of 2017 for overcrowd relievement

Meanwhile, the exit-only measure at Platform 1 / 2 at Central Station has also been adjusted

東涌綫往香港、東涌的頭班車,會分別改為於 0505 時 及 0450 時開出,此後每 15 分鐘一班至 0600 時,以方便參與賽事的乘客

Temporary Student Octopus cards are valid for 92 days, which may be returned for refund at a later date after receiving the new Personalised Octopus card, to avoid long wait at Customer Service Centre

Exit J1 (Court of Final Appeal) of Central Station will be closed to facilitate the Remembrance Sunday Ceremony

“Railway Vision” type displays along West Rail and Ma On Shan Lines platforms will show the arrival time of four upcoming trains

This will align the arrangement with other suburban lines e.g. Tung Chung or East Rail Lines. It would also be easier for passengers to know whether the train arriving is formed of 4 / 7 or 8 coaches
