Three LRVs will wear the winning entries of Light Rail 30th anniversary photo contest and drawing competitions which were held with local secondary schools as special livery when serving different routes until the end of this year

These entries will also be exhibited at Concourse, Yuen Long and Siu Hong Stations until 31/Jun (Tue) ? ?

The Light Rail network was commenced in Sep/1988 and carrying around 500,000 passengers every day. Many new facilities are introduced to the railway and it will receive different enhancements of the service model in near future to cope with the increasing patronage

The overhead live wires between She Kip Mei and Diamond Hill was tripped off while the situation has been rectified

Fire Service Department is now investigating the cause with MTR staff

At the same time, some interchange stations are very crowded thus Tsuen Wan Line trains were unable to let passengers to alight and depart as usual

The award ceremony of “Light Rail 30th Anniversary” Photo Competition will be held at

1500 – 1600 hours, 23/Jun (Sat)
in the middle of Concourse, Siu Hong Station

The Under Secretary for Transport and Housing Dr. Raymond So Wai-man is honoured to be one of the award presenters

Winning entries will later be displayed on a LRV body or inside train compartments, passengers may enjoy all other entries on the display boards during the ceremony
