以便新車廂能盡快於馬鞍山綫行駛，減少因四卡列車改用新停車位置後，乘客需到月台新建部分候車的不便

Moments before the first train departed on 3/Nov (Thu) morning, engineers transported the first East West Line Train from Pat Heung Depot to Tai Wai Depot

This would allow the new carriages to enter into passenger service on Ma On Shan Line as soon as possible to reduce the inconvenience for passengers who may occasionally be required to move along the platform when 4-car trains are stopping to the new stopping marks

Following the ridership increase in the railway network, it is increasingly common to see foreign objects being trapped at the edge of escalator steps

Escalator will stop automatically when it detect any abnormalities; however, some steps will inevitably be pushed away from its guiding rail before the escalator comes to a complete stop

Station staff will attend the scene as soon as possible, but passengers should also hold the handrail at all times as a safety precaution
